Rapunzel Meets Santa Claus in Hell

Rapunzel Meets Santa Claus in Hell by Tom BoyleAbout

What, other than an excellent title, is
“Rapunzel Meets Santa Claus in Hell?

“Rapunzel meets Santa Claus in Hell” is a humorous look at American mythology and pop culture through the legends of Rapunzel, Santa Claus, Hell and Elvis.

Santa Claus is the salaciously evil C.E.O. of Claus, Inc., the mega-corporation responsible for Christmas.

Rapunzel is a headstrong woman who, unlike the traditional telling, grows tired of waiting for Prince Charming to arrive and takes matters into her own hands.

Both wander through the dark woods of our collective subconscious, encountering comic and tragic characters along the way, until their fateful meeting in the underworld.

Rapunzel (a teaser)

We meet Rapunzel just as she has given up on waiting for Prince Charming and is about to tie her hair to the bedpost and repel out the window – only to have to face the outside world.
