Comic Strips by Tom Boyle

Last week I showed you some of my paintings and drawings, so this week I thought “Comic Strips”.  I guess I might have to change the name of this site from tombWriter to something that includes art, illustration, design and more.

Most of my drawings start out as doodles.  I’ll just put the pen or pencil to paper and see what starts to appear.  A few start with the idea, punchline, what not, but become something different as I am drawing.

I have also done short runs of comic strips like “Motel Boy” (with continuing characters if not plots), and comic vignettes like “Baby Doomsday” (not full sized comic books, but a complete story), that I will post here eventually.
